We cannot say enough good about Finish Pros. I entrusted my entire dining room set to them and to say it turned beautiful is an understatement. Everyone who sees it loves it and wants to know where I had it done. They did a combination of enamel paint and refinishing and upholstery on this entire room of furniture that is close to 100 years old. I also had a chair that the cane back had broken and my favorite ottoman that had seen its better day reupholstered in a navy performance velvet. I find myself searching my house for the next pieces that I will entrust to Finish Pros. You can’t buy quality furniture like you used to and refinishing, repainting, and reupholstering is the way to go. I would not ever go elsewhere after all of this experience with the best in the business in my opinion!

Based on a very positive recommendation from a friend, I contacted Finish Pros about reupholstering my dining room chairs. They did a fantastic job. That led me to contact themregarding two pieces of bedroom furniture that really needed to be refinished. I sent"before" photos of the furniture; a vanity and an armoire. Finish Pros responded immediately with cost and time estimates to complete the work. I could not have been more pleased with the result. All of my interactions with Finish Pros have been very positive, right down to the young men that picked up and delivered my furniture. We stumbled on Finish Pros because they responded to an open plea for help posted to social media. Fortuitous! From first contact with Cat (designer), to speaking with Dan (owner), and working with Emma (office manager) a refreshing experience as to craftsmanship and customer service. We got exactly what we wanted. Finish Prosreplaced foam (using highest quality and firmness) in sofa seat cushions and restored an antique parlor chair. Finish Pros exceeded my expectations in every way! The owner is very knowledgeable about the history and age of furniture and truly knows the refinishing business. The employees took such care in both picking up and returning my furniture and were prompt, professional and personal. Cat and Emma kept me updated with photos and progress in the process of refinishing my furniture via email. I could not believe how beautiful and well matched the table I gave them to refinish matched my depression era buffet and china cupboard. I reached out to Finish Pros for refinishing a murphy bed. They were expeditious with their quote, professional, and were going to allow me to drop off the bed as a cost saving measure. In a last minute measure, we determined that the bed wouldn't fit up the stairs and ultimately had to cancel the project. Regardless, I cannot wait until the next project where I'll need Finish Pros's help. Was soooo impressed thus far!

I could not be more thrilled with the work completed by the artists at Finish Pros. From Emma at the front desk (always quick with a response), to Dan in the planning stages, to the end product, this is a 5 Star company.I brought in two old, damaged chairs that we bought in China. I loved the patina and age of the chairs but they were falling apart. Dan discussed options for making the chairs stable and usable while keeping the period look of the chairs. They are now a focal point of my family room.Dan and the team also shored up and reupholstered a Morris chair that was passed down from my grandparents. The previous cushions were going flat and the fabric was out of date. Thrilled with the update.Would 100% recommend Finish Pros. They are pros at really listening to their clients wishlist and making it come true.

Update April 2024:When FinishPros refinished the cabinet they painted the hinges the same color as the cabinet but they quickly began to flake. I called them up and Dan came to visit us to see what the issue could be. He made it right for us! It took a little while and about 3 visits before he figured it out but he made it good and didn't charge us a dime. I wish I could add another star as I can't gush enough about Dan and his operation.April 2023:Truly an exceptional experience from start to finish! Dan is amazing, you can see his love for his work and for top notch outcomes. We had him refinish our corner cabinet and the end result was just amazing. I admit I did not much like the piece before (plain wood version in photo), but now (painted) I'm really in love with it. No review would be complete without mentioning Emma and the delivery guys (whose names I did not catch). It seems everybody at FinishPros truly care about doing good work and happy customers. Highly recommend them.

Finish Pros recently recovered a large chair cushion which was an antique find. They were able to match the exact color and pattern to the rest of the chair. You'd never know the difference and the workmanship put into it will last years to come! I'd consider using them for other pieces when needed. Great experience all around and great outcome!

Finish Pros are incredible. I wanted to reupholster an heirloom settee from my grandparents. They worked closely with me to source the samples I’d found online. The consult was very helpful in narrowing down my decision, double checking versus their many big fabric books, discussing details like wood finish, piping, cushion, and accent pillows. I had concerns about choosing a light fabric seat cushion and it being prone to spots, so I selected a complimentary solid from their selection to go with the stripes. They updated me a couple times during the ~6 weeks with photos of the progress.The final product is above and beyond my expectations! They knew how special this piece is to me. Their attention to detail is excellent and they really care about their clients. My mother is going to get a wingback redone by them next!

Finish Pros in Raleigh recently refinished two walnut tables for me. These are family pieces from the early 1940s. They are absolutely beautiful now. One is a Pembroke table with two sides that either extend or drop. The oval table has inlaid wood and book matched veneer. The new finish highlights that character nicely. This table also had a broken leg and it was fixed perfectly. Their work is excellent. I tried to photograph them to show the finish up close. I had Finish Pros refinish an antique quartersawn bookcase and solid mahogany family bedroom pieces a few years ago and those were done beautifully also. I highly recommend Finish Pros. They take a tremendous amount of pride in their work which is very important to me. If anyone else is thinking about having their furniture refinished, you will be delighted with Finish Pros. I highly recommend Finish Pros. After a search on Angi last year, I decided to have Finish Pros refinish and reupholster my vintage mid-century dining set, as well as reupholster three living room chairs and an ottoman. Their designer drove from Raleigh to Durham several times to view the pieces, help me choose fabrics and finishes, and gather information for detailed estimates. As I settled into my new home and my needs evolved, she cheerfully accommodated my changes and promptly provided me with new inspirations and updated estimates. Their office assistant was super friendly and responsive while answering my questions and scheduling my furniture pickup and delivery dates. Their movers always arrived on time and were super friendly, efficient, and careful with my furniture. Both the wood refinishing and upholstery were high quality craftsmanship and completed exactly according to the specifications and costs on their estimates. Restoration of the veneer on my 70-year-old dining table was particularly miraculous! Everything was delivered on or before the promised dates. I’m so glad I decided to refinish some family heirlooms instead of buying new pieces, totally worth it!!

Finish Pros furniture repair did an absolutely beautiful job of repairing and refinishing our antique coffee and side table. The 2 tables had been refinished a number of years ago but the quality of work was so poor in a short time period the finish became in a worst state than before. Finish Pros restored the two tables to their original state and matched the color perfectly with a third table ( which did not need refinishing) and restored the pieces to their natural beauty. We have used Finish Pros in the past to reupholster our dinning room chairs, they refinished a side table for us which came out better than the original manufacturers color and finish, and repaired a entertainment center shelf and helped us on some leather sofa cushions. Five stars for quality, customer service and satisfaction. If you need to repair, upholster or refinish a piece of furniture from your every day to your heirloom pieces, take it to Finish Pros, you won't be disappointed.

My wife and I decided recently that we needed to start furniture shopping. We moved to the Triangle 18 months ago and several pieces of our furniture were scratched badly by the movers. My husband and I are thrilled with the beautiful job Finish Pros did on our 55 year old dining chairs. The finish is flawless, and they look like they are new! Since they are being repurposed and reused in a different room, we decided to have them painted instead of stained. I was given my choice of color, as I was told they can match any shade. Their multi-step finishing process was explained to me, and I was told that they assure the paint pigment will not enter the wood. They can someday be stripped and refinished in the original cherry finish. I will definitely recommend Finish Pros to anyone who wants quality furniture refinishing.

My wife & I have used Finish Pros for reupholstering two EA chairs, refinishing a large but not tall coffee table to sit in front of our sofa, but the latest "reconstruction or redo" was that of our dining room "side bar". This review is very overdue. We've used FinishPros twice for furniture that has been in the family for generations. Ben helped us about 3 years ago refinish a 100+ year old couch - probably homemade - that at one time had a trundle bed in it. It has iron and wood and did have straw, etc. It was heavy, uncomfortable, and difficult to move as it was multiple pieces. FinishPros did a fabulous job refinishing it and reinforcing it so we can move it as a single piece. The finished pic here doesn't do it justice, but it is beautiful.We also have a wonderful rocker, probably also 100+ years old. It had been re-upholstered at least once and was a bit scratched up. Kat helped us with this project and we couldn't be more pleased. We chose not to refinish the wood as we love the generations of touch that has kept it smooth and comfortable but they cleaned it up nicely and re-upholstered it for us.We have more projects planned!

I hired Finish pros to Paint a King 80 year old French Headboard which I bought on eBay and had shipped down from New Jersey. The Headboard was gorgeous but it had cracks the size of the width of the Mississippi. It had also been shabby chic chalked painted with some nasty yucky white chalk paint. Nuf said.They came to my house and picked up the Headboard for a fee (because it was too large to fit in my car). They worked on it for 5 weeks. They STRIPPED the paint off the headboard, sanded the headboard and filled in the cracks and repainted the headboard the most amazing color yellow. See attached original photo, stripping photo and final product. They did an amazing job. I am super super pleased and will have this headboard for many years to come.If your looking for professional, you know who to call right? Finish Pros!
